Volunteers of ConstructConnect and the American Institute of Architects – Detroit teamed together to beautify Detroit neighborhoods during the Liferemodeled 2021 Six Day .Project.
Teams of volunteers cleared brush, pruned and cut trees, removed overgrown foliage, and carted off debris in the annual project. Six consecutive days are dedicated to revitalizing Detroit neighborhoods within the four-square mile area around Life Remodeled. It also helps local homeowners make home repairs and repurposes old school buildings to create opportunity centers for education, employment, and human service.
“ConstructConnect was so honored that we could sponsor Detroit AIA’s involvement in Life Remodeled for the second year in a row and work beside its members,” said Derek Guffey, Vice President of Product Marketing at ConstructConnect.
ConstructConnect partners with local AIA chapters to enhance and support their communities. Guffey said that the program’s continued success and its scale have a positive impact on Detroit’s neighborhoods around downtown.
Time, talent, and treasure are the core tenets of ConstructConnect’s community outreach efforts. Each person has a different ability to give. We recognize that each person is suited to give differently. HTML3_
