One or two dehumidifiers for a 4100 sqft house with two ac system?
Currently planning the HVAC for my 4200 sqft house in Mississippi. My HVAC contractor suggested 2 separate ac systems (2 ton and 3 ton) because the insulation will be spray foam. I like the idea of using whole house dehumidifier because of the green grass climate. My question is, do I need to install two dehumidifiers, one for each ac system, or will one unit be sufficient? I plan to have another ERV system to take care of the ventilation. Thanks.

Wait for member Teddy Bear for dehumidifiers, spray foam and outside air recommendations.
Im more concerned with proper sizing.
5-Tons for 4200sqft new construction sounds oversized from here!
